Who can Play?

Dogs who are at least 6 months old and have been spayed or neutered. Also note: with changes in veterinary recommendations regarding spay/neuter surgery, I will consider unaltered animals on a case-by-case basis.

With a limit of 12 dogs, I give priority to dogs who are boarding. Daycare is offered when space is available.

Dogs who meet the criteria listed in the Application and Agreement (button above, top right corner)

Before boarding or daycare, I will schedule a meet and greet. This allows you to bring your dog and see how Creekside is set up. It also allows me to see how your dog interacts with other dogs. If it looks like a good fit then we can get your pup on the calendar. For some dogs it is helpful to plan a half day of daycare before boarding to get your dog acclimated to a new place.

Due to insurance restrictions, I am unable to accept pit bulls/Staffordshire terriers.

Creekside is a Dog Daycare and Boarding facility in Banks, Oregon. (near the Dairy Queen on Highway 26 heading towards Seaside.)

I have a two acre pasture completely fenced-in that is flat and open. The street-facing fences are 6 feet high and have privacy screens, and the creek-side fences are 4 feet high and are surrounded by blackberries and creek. Please look on my Instagram, as this is the best way to see the property and how the dogs spend their days,

We can go through a gate to access a creek area where dogs can play; it’s much cooler down there in the heat of the summer. Creek play is only allowed with supervision. Misters are provided so that the covered, outside, shaded area will be cool when it’s hot.

The shelter we’ve created is contains kennels, large and small. I also have a few spaces for dogs who are not crate trained You are welcome to bring your dog’s bedding, with the understanding that it may be damaged by other dogs. During the night, dogs are separated from other dogs who are not from the same household. This keeps them safer and ensures they can sleep, undisturbed.

We opened in September, 2020, but were slow with the Covid restrictions. I I keep attendance small for safety. I do not accept more than 12 dogs at a time. I want every dog to have a good time. I will tell you if your dog seems uncomfortable or might prefer a different setting for boarding. If a dog is not enjoying daycare, I will let you know.

We are a place for dogs to play hard, get dirty, and feel at home. We would love to meet you and your furry friend(s) and have you over for a visit. Hopefully your dog will want to stay and play soon!
